For dog lovers in and near Columbia, Maryland!
Little Lord Nibbler Humperdink Rhys is a Yorkie-
Parker is Rubina's lively Maltese who is always on the go. "He loves to play, but most of all he loves to go wherever Mommy goes. He's my travel buddy."
Riley is a Havanese who lives with the Love family in Columbia. He was born in May 2000. Every day around 10 am he gets a burst of perkiness and loves to chase toys around the house. Then, it's nap time and waiting for the mail carrier to bring him treats.
Guinness is a shiba inu who shares his home with Lisa Grantham. "He is full of spunk and loves long walks and rough housing with other pups. But I think his favorite hobby is digging in sand and dirt!"
Meet Oskar, Liz's Yorkie Poo born in May 2012. "He recently joined our family and stole our hearts immediately" says Liz who lives in Columbia. "He's smart and playful, and has such a sweet soul. His big brown eyes could melt anyone's heart!"
Teddy is Gemma’s 14-
Jesse is Liz’s best buddy. “He loves to go for fast walks in almost any weather, to play ball and with the other (little) dogs at the Dog Park and for adventures (car rides)!”
Blazer is Becky’s Alaskan Klee Kai. “He is full of energy and loves to play and go for walks especially in the woods. He does great with big and small dogs but prefers to romp around with the bigger ones. He’s looking forward to making some new buddies.”
Bogey is a Yorkie who shares his home with Karen. "He has a funny personality. He can be stubborn, likes to get his way, but is very sweet. I guess you could say he is very spoiled."
Scooby is a sweet Buff Cavalier-
Cody is a Havanese, born in May 2004, who lives with the Loves along with his buddy Riley. Cody likes nothing more than to be told how cute he is and is offended if someone passes him by without doing so.
MaryBeth says: "Dixie is a spunky chihuahua mix who has the heart and soul of a labrador retriever! She swims, fetches and keeps up with her big brother and sister. She wiggles when she is excited, and loves to give kisses."
Muffin is Gloria's tricolor coton de tulear born in August 2009. "She weighs only 9 pounds but looks larger due to her fluffy, cottony fur. Muffin loves every person and almost every dog, though she has become more concerned about larger dogs as she has gotten older. She is my first dog and a wonderful companion."
Parker is living large in Columbia after an early retirement from conformation. Her humans like to say that "we rescued her from a life of beauty pageants!" Parker, with Eileen's help, created a CDOG collie group to meet new collie friends.
This is Robin lounging in the sun in Tucson, where she accompanies Wendy for cancer treatment twice a year. "A wonderful friend she is to me and to her little dog sister, Kip," says Wendy.
Rolly is Meg's Collie/Husky mix who "LOVES everyone. Rolly loves to go on walks and eat peanut butter from his kong. He is originally from the south, but has enjoyed his time in Maryland thus far. He is quite the ladies man!"
Teddy is a lovable Pomeranian! He was rescued by Dina from a woman who wasn't meeting his needs. “He will do tricks for food and would rather stand up on his hind legs than be on all fours. He will be your best friend and doesn't like it when you won't be his! Teddy is the quirkiest, silliest, most loving little dog that you will ever meet."
Titus is a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix who shares his home with MaryBeth. "We rescued him from Howard County Animal Control three years ago, but feel like he has been a part of our lives for much longer! He loves going for walks, and just laying out in the yard napping."
Toby is Maureen's good dog, now about 8 years old. He has an interesting job, we're told. Toby is "a therapy dog who acclimates people and animals to overcoming their fears of dogs." Good job, Toby!
